Design
A totally self-confident look. The Audi TT features functional styling details that ensure a pure sports car feeling: aluminium tank cap with tastefully embossed TT logo; 3-spoke flat bottom steering wheel; dual-tipped exhaust pipes on the V6 3.2 model. The layout of the center console and cockpit engulf the driver. The standard, ergonomically shaped sports seats provide effective lateral support, can be adjusted to suit individual needs and are positioned low in typical sports car fashion.
Safety
Audi believes that safety and performance are not mutually exclusive. Extensive airbag programs, the Audi backguard system, a rigid body shell and three point seat-belts are all evidence of Audi's increasing insistence on producing safe vehicles. Performance or all-season tires paired with TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM ™ help ensure that tire pressure is always at a safe level or that there will be run-flat capability in the event of pressure loss. Full-size airbags for driver and front passenger are triggered in two stages: Front, knee and side airbags. If the car is struck from the rear, the seat is shaped to restrain the occupant’s upper body and support the head at an early stage.
